children in cyberspace....i can't think of anyone else to relate this matter to but my little sister...she probably knows more games than i do..in fact, her friendster is more advanced than mine..she actually knows how to put music in her profile and i can't even figure out how to do it..anyway, today's generation is so different than mine. when i was in garde school, i did all my projects hand-written and syempre dapat may borders pa on the sides..i realized that children are way lucky now that their seems to be endless advancements in computers.
however, because of computers or internet, children tend to become lazy. they spend gazillions of hours playing or checking out videos of high school musical stars...and they never get sick of them...`that's actually one of my biggest problems with my sister..i can't make her do her homework when she's busy on the net...i have to drag her out of the computer and bribe her just so she listens to me...
so you see too much of anything is bad enough.....too much of internet use can cause you headache...atleast it did to me...and for children to spend too much time being in the cyberspace results to laziness!

i agree with what you said na too much internet use leads to laziness. kasi kahit nephew ko, ang hirap kunin ng attention pag may tutorials siya and may malapit na computer sa kanya. to think na he's just 6years old! mas naaaliw na siya sa computers kaysa sa school work niya.
TUMPAK!
anything in excess is bad! That is why it is really important to keep track with a child's activities. Madali o mabilis kasi maimpluwensyahan ang mga bata . . . Mjo bitter din ako sa mga kpatid ko because when i was in gradeschool i always have to research on different books and encyclopedia for my projects, if there are drawings needed, i will draw it by myself, pero ngaun, one click away and they have instant pictures and summaries of their needed materials for their research. That's why sometimes I don't let them use the Internet hehehe, libro binibigay ko hahaha :-D
Minsan when I use the internet, it's like I'm in a trance. Click lang ako ng click hanggang di ko mapansin, 8 hours na pala kong nakatunganga sa harap ng computer!
Haha definitely kids these days, are totally into the computer. I remeber when we did projects, manila paper was king haha and if you had ilustration board "bigtime ka na". No such thing as Photoshop yet as it was still in its beta stages during the early 90s. Mspaint was your bestfriend during the later years of gradeschool.
Oh yeah!!!n First, thanks for dropping by and commenting on my post. Seriously, gredeschoolers and kids at high school have the convinience of clicking a button and getting an accurate and credible paperwork that most of older people spent days doing before. I think that the internet has phenomenally revlutionalized the way our world is linked together.
