when the medium is not your style

Just like in most things (and situations), how to get started is usually a hard thing to do and this class blog (CyberCom) is one of them (although of course those who know me well enough are aware that I have been thinly spread on so many concerns, plus the fact that this is one extremely busy term).

Aside from finding time to sit down and actually creating this blog, I have to admit that the medium can be allienating...(probably another cause for the delay in creating this blog)since I am not particularly a product of this virtual medium. Writing through blogs (particularly personal or creative in nature)is something that doesn't strike me as a casual thing to dosince I feel that I am unnecessarily exposing myself. You see, I am more used to the practice of using paper as my medium. I find it easy to bring along and to use in a variety of occasions. Among its several uses are: it's a good medium for remembering random thoughts, for capturing fragments of an idea, or for tracking down the "missing" fundamental link/s to complete a concept, which by the very nature of this ellusive "missing links" illuminate itself during lucid moments.

With that having said, I am enjoining everyone to explore, experience, conquer, and enjoy this new media. Let us share insights (the more provocative, the better) on the academic and socio-political events, upload links, and post our thoughts on this new media.
