Oral vs. Written Communication

Oral Communication - I'm a 1st yr HS student. I go up to my crush and tell her in front of her... takes me 10 minutes to finally shout it out: I LOVE YOU

Written Communication - Same scenario except i write a letter to my crushI write all the cutest quotes i can think of, write how beautiful she is and how her smile makes you melt and how she could be the next Bb. Pilipinas. end it with XOXOxoXoxO

Same message, different styles of telling them. Basically that's what oral and written tradition is all about. They both are useful but at times, one is more useful than the other. Say for example, you're lost and you need to look for a place around QC. You could either ask or check your map, whichever suits you more. An example for only one choice is when making a contract with a friend or associate. It's better to make it written so that you have proof and that none of you will take advantage of it.

People these days tend to use written communication on important aspects such as work while Oral Communication is more reserved for our social life... sweet, that's it. END

Save Our Nation Arroyo (SONA)

What can i say, another SONA, another reason to see lots of people burning sculptures of GMA. Let's take a look at our country first... lots of poor people, the price of oil is expensive, there are lots of corrupt politicians and crooked cops in our country, not to mention the ever increasing price of commodities.

SONA, SONA... same stuff that presidents say, the country is getting better, it's not big... but there's improvement in the country... And the things on how to improve our country, getting jobs for people, building better roads, schools and better facilities for kids and to lower the price of all commodities...see, same stuff.

What I like to talk about is the people who protest the SONA It's always the same people, and they all blame GMA for her poor performance... let's see, GMA says our country is getting better but why are people complaining that our country is still poor. Simple, they can't feel it... so what do they do, they protest...and protest... and protest...and protest... how bout working instead of complaining... I'm not a GMA advocate or anything, it's just...come on, one person can't steal all the money in the country... don't blame everything on her. That's why it's hard to be in politics, accdg. to my family members who are politicians, people don't notice the good things that you do for them but if they think your doing something wrong, then a protest will erupt. And they say you're the bad guy. lose lose situation right there. You try to help but all you get is people burning images of you for being "corrupt." Come on, she might be corrupt but what about the policeman taking advantage of you, why can't you burn images of him...easy, fear. GMA won't threaten your family, the corrupt policeman could. So instead of protesting, how about helping GK build houses for the poor, that's your aim isn't it...to help the poor. Poor next president, good luck to you.

Oh and text is cheaper...yay?!
