SOanoNA ?

This blog is not to put down the Sona of our president gloria arroyo, it is niether a blog to defend her. Some people say dont listen to the sona wala lang yan its the same old story and nothing is going to come of it. Well, i say try running a country that is on a nose dive to extreme poverty, try running a country where even school teachers are corrupt, and try running a country where your citizens a re ignorant of laws and choose to evade all responsibility.

Gloria is an economist that is what she knows to do. If people do pay attention our economy is really growing. we cannot expect to have it boom in the terms that gloria has seated as president. We cannot expect to rise from third world status just because of gloria. To raise a country from poverty takes years nd years and years of hard work and big changes.

All i really have to say is, I think people should just stop judging and imagine how it would be if they were in glorias shoes. Shes bringing our eonomy up i think we should be happy about that and we have seen that she has done alot of projects. Yes she may have done alot to disappoint us but we cant just keep pulling her down we should all do our part for the country and that will really make a big difference.

Well, just like in the laws of physics on action and reaction, I believe this can be applied to social phenomena - that corrupt presidents, politicians, or leaders will exist only for as long as the people or their constituents will allow them to. For every push, there is a corresponding reaction. Or maybe, another way of putting it is - we deserve the kind of president that we have.

About doing our thing, we need consistency and an iron resolve to do the right thing. For instance, parents or teachers might find it difficult or probably absurd to instill the value of honesty when children and students know that the president, the highest embodiment/representative of a nation has not been exonerated of charges of graft and corruption and fraud. Thus, the leader/s or the country may be sending out the wrong signals to our children, the youth, the future leaders of the country! And this is possibly what the youth are picking up - it's ok to cheat or be corrupt for as long as you are the head/CEO of an org/company because they can get away with it. Thus, the moral is, strive to be the leader, and once you are up there you can enjoy and squander the power and resources available at that position.

You are definitely taking our president for granted! Haha just kidding! Yeah personally I did not listen to the sona because I believe that it is already fabricated and that actions are louder than words. Our president can say a lot of things that would give us more hope but if she fails to achieve it then we will just get disappointed.

We can not judge her because her term is not done yet but we also have to give an open mind on people because people can change constantly. I am also at the borderline of agreeing and disagreeing with our presidents actions. Time will tell on what will our true destiny will be revealed

BULLS-EYE, Widjam!

It's still rocket science to me how people do not learn from their mistakes! Especially during the elections.
