oral and written culture

oral and written tradition is pretty much the same. but i think Written is more beleivable than oral. usually written things are more factual and detailed since most written works are published. oral tradition is giving information through words and i think every person has a way of delivering information and it could be understood differently by other people.

example:
people would prefer to use a dictionary whenever they want to find the meaning of a word because it contains right information. compared to getting meanings oraly, the meaning can be changed it just depends on how the person understand the word that you are asking.
