THE SONA

Our democratic nation are annually brought to awareness of what has been really happening and incurring on the welfare of each and every citizen of this country. This is announced by the one and only person who are in charge and capable of implementing authority to further improve our national status. That person is our president, the person that corresponding citizens have put to authority and control over all that can manipulate our national status.

But what is it that really occurs under the awareness of thousands on our country? This can therefore be replied by the national report of our president. In her SONA, that is fed to the mentality of the numerous Filipinos, concerned and not concerned alike. All that has been promised and said on her report, seem to echo the rampant and incredible promises politicians have promised to the public before they were put to position. Now, after quite a period since our leaders, were brought to authority, those promises are still awaited by the people to happen. The president has let out a continuous array of educated and astounding sentences that may probably appease to the influential upper and middle class of the citizens of the society and so further increase the credibility and approve of her presidency. But these upper class and middle classed citizens are just of a fraction that corresponds to just a little speck of what really makes up of the Filipino country. A good reason of why she had used such literate manner for her SONA, is to secure her of the favor of those influential enough to retain her in position and throw off the administration. Along the SONA, the president used certain Filipino words that can pertain to the common public citizens of this nation. But what really contains of those paragraphs are just a mere announcement of what she is doing to resolve our crisis and not what the past implementation have resulted to for the welfare of the republic. The president have also stated out examples of certain Filipinos that can never represent the slightest fraction of what the population consists of.

Although, the examples of how these specific Filipinos are affected by her works can never spell out a massive and significant effect towards our national welfare. I am not distinguishing her regime and rule as a useless worsening of past crisis. And I can also never protest to how she runs the republic because I have not a single method of what to implement in order to improve the national status. All that I am trying to tell is that our country consists not only of our elected leaders but of the whole public as well. Both of these gigantic forces should therefore merge together and diminish any manner of separation and we can then collaborate better and work for a better country

I have to say you write very well.

Anyway, I don't think that it is our Presidents fault why so many Filipino's are ignorant. I believe that she gets approval of the upper and middle class because theses classes are the educated ones, the ones who actually know and understand what is really going on in our country.

Yes people may think that she has empty promises and she has said all these things before but bringing a country up from poverty is a work in progress it will not resolve in one term.

People must understand that only a country that is one and together will rise from hardship.
