My normal routine when I log on to the internet is: check my yahoo mail, check facebook, look at flickr for jewelry, and look at other sites that will give me craft ideas. But since I am in the school computer lab I am not able to look at facebook. This is actually the only thing I can’t look at. I completely understand why they don’t allow these kinds of sites. I mean we are in a school we shouldn’t be looking at networking sites that may possibly have bad content.
So right now I’m looking at flicker, I’m looking at bracelet ideas because I’m going to start a new bracelet collection. So far everything is going well, although there was one page that was banned and I don’t really know why because my search is specific to bracelets. So that is a little frustrating because you never know that page may have the best bracelets. But its alright I have actually gotten a couple of ideas because of this compmed exercise.
I’m done looking at flickr, now I will check the Martha Stewart site. I get recipes, crafts, and many other ideas from here. The Martha Stewart site is very well made and very organized; it makes it easy for someone like me who doesn’t like being hassled when searching.
I really don’t have any complaints using the internet here in the computer lab, there are just times that I would like to look at certain pictures but for some reason I can’t because it is blocked. But all in all I think the staff for the computer labs are doing a good job.

Yes the guardian is the devil! It is forbidding us to learn more in school! But yes there is a logical explanation on why some destinations are banned and yeah we are inside school premises. Yes the internet is a very good source of knowledge and we must not use this for bad but use it for good. It just disappointing that even though there are some things that we should be learned for school are also being banned by this “Dan’s Guardian”.
Good luck with your jewelries! Give me some haha
